The Scouts Patrol

The Scouts divided into Patrols. Each Patrols consist of 6 to 8 scouts headed up by a Patrol Leader and an Assistant Patrol Leader. Patrol Leader and Assistant Patrol Leader are Scouts chosen by their own Patrol to take on leadership responsibilities within the Patrol itself.

Firstly, they have both responsibilities to welcome new youngsters to the Patrol. Secondly taking charge of a certain game or activity, hosting the Patrol Leader Councils and to be an added value to assist the Scout Leader and the Assistant Leaders.

Scouts are led to live the traditional “Jamboree” Camp which is being held every four years. For this event, all Scouts from different groups are gathered for a few days to share a unique moment through different activities proposed by the Mauritius Scout Association (MSA) or aboard.
